Picture Probs

Sometimes instead of doing laundry (I lie. It should've said every time) I move stuff around and take pictures and sit on photoshop for hours because I am still learning the tricks of picture manipulations. I feel like I am getting better but I stare myself blind sometimes. Like my biggest photoshop Q is: white. How white is too white?! How does exposure and taking the black out of white effect a picture? I can't seem to figure it out.
BIG questions and BIG topics for a Monday.. Now excuse me. I hear the washing machine calling my name and luckily in laundry land nothing is ever too white!

Winter Wonder Volvo

Usually don't share real life pictures, but these ones are so cute because it finally snowed and my biggest dream for a long time has been to get a snowy portrait of me and my car! It's a pretty weird dream, I know. But my car is so special to me. His name is Turbo Bromann and he is a 1997 Volvo 940. And if you are great at math, unlike me, next year he turns 20! And he has been in my family the whole time. Special buddy, mechanical brother and all time favorite snowmobile.

Dogs and Volvos are best friends too! This is Leif (yup, he shares name with my studio).

New Year / New Colours / New Resolution

2016, you foxy new year you. I can't say I have looked forward to see you as it means I will now have to leave my 20s behind. And thinking about that makes me think about life and serious stuff and that just makes me stressed out. So instead of making a stupid resolution list of things I will never accomplish in one year anyway, I have decided to only focus on one very important thing: Becoming a master of meringue. Because I realized, when I think back on the past year, that meringue had me mentally befaffled and completely broken between 12-15 times (an estimate as my brain has partly / fully deleted the worst of the meringue episodes. Thank you brain.). But that is MANY times to feel beaten by sugar and egg whites. 2016 may be the year of the monkey for most, but for me it is the year of the meringue. Control it, eat it, repeat it.
