A SMALL N.Y.E. PARTY

Happy New Year everyone! I am so glad to say  "adios 2012"!. Even though I had a super creative year, had the pleasure to work on many exciting jobs and finally opened up for a future full of visual merchandising and interior decorating, 2012 didn't quite give me that !YES!-feeling... You know what I mean? So I am all up for 2013 and a fresh beginning. I started out pretty alright with building this new and improved blog and I have already filled out pages on pages in my GOALS book. This year I will follow some inspiration from this creative lady and take a picture of my home everyday. It is such a good idea and very wise too. It is a nice way to look back on personal interior styles and inspirations and also an excellent way to improve my photography skills. I am ready for it! What is your New Years resolution? Anything you dream of doing or getting good at?

DIY XMAS TIME

So why is it a Danish woman marries an Australian man? I will tell you. It is because she then gets 2 Christmases EVERY year! Bonus! Oh, and obviously there's some love floating around too. Buy how lucky can you be?! In Denmark we have always celebrated Christmas Eve on the 24th. That's the night we roast our ducks, dance around the Christmas tree and open up presents. The 25th is usually just a day where we eat the leftovers, watch some Christmas movies and go outside for a snowball fight in the afternoon. But after I met Morgan the 25th has turned into a whole other Christmas! JOY! So because it gets so hot in Melbourne over Christmas, a BBQ is usually a most. Here are some of my favorite photos from my festive home.
