H.C. ANDERSEN FESTIVALS

The theme of the festival was “to Travel is to Live”. And what better way to illustrate this, than to actual travel into Andersen’s stories. Stories that set place at very diverse destinations, from snow covered mountains to underwater kingdoms. All seven books had integrated lights to create depth between the many illustrated layers. The books also had integrated speakers from where the fairytales were read out loud by actors. The books measured 2 meters in hight. Concept design and illustrations by Camilla Bromann and construction by Asger Stuhr. Lights by Standlux. Printworks by BB Grafisk.
